Napoli has decided to revoke the role of first team coach from Mr Carlo Ancelotti. "The rapport of friendship, admiration and reciprocal respect between the club, its president Aurelio De Laurentiis and Carlo Ancelotti remain intact,'' Napoli made in official statement. Arsenal's four-man recruitment team have started whittling down a hit-list of more than 12 managerial candidates to succeed Unai Emery. According to the report on UK Sun, Arsenal have already held talks with Valencia coach Marcelino, former Porto boss Vitor Pereira and Bordeaux’s Paulo Sousa. Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira who is now in charge of Nice is also reported to be in the race for the Arsenal job as well as Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta. Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently occupying ninth position on the Premier League standings with 22 points after 16 games. 

Earlier, had reported how Unai Emery was sacked by Arsenal following a torrid run of lacklustre performance that saw the Premier League side forfeit an early lead to suffer another 2-1 defeat to Frankfurt. His sacking was confirmed in a statement by Arsenal on Friday, November 29, ending growing speculations surrounding the former PSG boss' future with the Gunners.
